Combining dish and cable signel

Can i combine dish and cable signel in one cable using some device like splitter. Please help.

Yup it is called a diplexer. Looks like a splitter but is actually a high freq dc pass low freq dc block device. You use them in pairs. Many here don't like them but I find they work great. I have used a lot of them. You will pay a lot for them at Rat shack so be careful. If you can't find a reasonable place to buy them let me know I have quite a few of them.
 
Thx for your advice. How much you will charge + S&H for a two (pair). I will be needing a pair (i guess). Need to be install at both end. What is diff between splitter and diplex
 
Splitters, split the signal, can't split satillite signal. Dyplexers combine - then seperate signal. Hope that helps.

Getting them at radio shack is easier
