Does anyone know of a 5.8 Ghz wireless Audio Video transmitter that works correctly?
I have a RF Link model, but the video washes out when large amounts of white appear on the screen. Example, watching a hockey game or commercial with a white background. It looks like not enough bandwidth for the video signal. I have talked to RF Link several times about this problem. They are aware of it and have been telling me for over a year, that they are coming out with a new model to replace the AVS-5811 that will correct the problem. Every time they give a date for the new product, it never shows on that date.
I am feeding the A/V from a DirecTV HD receiver, to several TVs located in the house. I have to use 5.8 Ghz as I have a 2.4 Ghz wireless network, 2.4 Ghz phones and a noisy microwave oven that will bother a 2.4 Ghz system.
