Galarraga has been injured, but I'm not so sure they wouldn't have made the change anyhow. They need a left handed starter, since Washout hasn't done so well here.

Remember the bashing of Magglio earlier in the year, granted , he didn't hit for the first 3/4 of the year ..... that said, since changing his batting stance 34 games ago, he's hit .355 and has his avg. up to a respectable .285

Yep, but at least they maintain their leads with Chicago and Minnesota losing.
I recently went to Detroit on my vacation, and was able to spend a little time in the ballpark. Went to the game on Sunday, August 30 - when Polanco hit a homer in the 8th to put the Tigers up and give Verlander his 15th win.

Tigers Sweep Tampa in Tampa and are now going to get swept in KC..Once again this offense blows another great Start by Verlander!! Are you kidding me? The Royals have done everything to piss this series away..They got down by 4 early to us last night and we pissed it away..Tonight they start are freaking Reliever and he blows us away..Tomorrow Greinke is sitting in place of a rookie...WTF are these guys doing?
