I'm moving to the Denver area in the spring and have read in other posts in the past that the OTA was almost nonexsitant, but also something about the towers being moved or some such. I'm looking at the Boomfield, Westminster and Thornton areas, and maybe near Pena Blvd and 70. Whats the Sitrep on the current OTA?? Tks in advance.--Ray

i live right on the border of westminster & broomfield (right by westminster promenade). i can pull in fox, cbs, and abc OTA -- but no chance in hell of getting nbc. abc recently (i guess it was probably 9 months ago or so now) put a tower on the republic plaza downtown (skyscraper)... there was talk of a monster tower going up on lookout mountain in Golden (the mountain with about 20 antennas on it already) .... but the people voted against it, which sucks. I don't understand why as they would've taken down several of the other antennas for this "super antenna" to go up.

Hughes HIRD-E8 as standalone OTA receiver
