Peaking of OSU and LSU. People love to argue about SEC speed and Big 10 speed. They really should be concerned with SEC scoring

OSU won their conference, look what it did for them
GA didn't even win the SEC East.
The only SEC that lost in any embarassing fashion was Arkansas. Missouri certainly can't claim to be the best after getting their asses kicked by Oklahoma TWICE. LSU would've made even shorter work of Missouri. I think only USC would've given LSU a run for its money.

It doesnt matter. If you had a playoff system then if USC got upset in the 1st round people would say Oh they could have beaten the champion in a bowl game system. Its no win situation and its really unneccessary. This is college athletics not the freakin NFL. We need no champion. Institute a playoff system and this thing will be even more corrupt than it already is. I can just see all of the moaning about who should be in a playoff now.
