AGREEMENT ALLOWS BROADCAST OF KOREAN BROADCASTING SYSTEM ON DISH NETWORK

LOS ANGELES & ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Oct. 18, 2005 – Korean Broadcasting Systems (KBS), Korea’s No. 1 television network, announced that it has signed an agreement with EchoStar Communications Corporation to broadcast KBS World to DISH Network™ subscribers in the United States. KBS World, a 24-hour programming network, is available for no additional charge to eligible DISH Network customers who have a Super DISH antenna pointed at the 121-degree orbital location and currently subscribe to America’s Top 60 or above, DISH Latino or above, or the Great Wall TV Package.

KBS World programming consists of the most popular shows airing on KBS’ two broadcast networks in Korea, including highly rated dramas, in-depth documentaries and breaking news, in addition to entertainment and sports programs. Most programs are subtitled in English.

“This agreement marks the first time that a Korean television network will be offered with the purchase of a basic programming package,” said Brian Kim, chief operating officer for KBS America. “It is very meaningful for KBS to give U.S. viewers the opportunity to enjoy Korea’s unique culture through DISH Network.”

Michael Neuman, president and chief operating officer for EchoStar, said the partnership provides another opportunity for DISH Network to expand its international TV offerings.

“DISH Network has become synonymous with international programming in America and offering KBS is another way we are providing Better TV for All,” Neuman said.

Viewers can contact 1-888-327-4253, www.dishnetwork.com or their local retailer for more information on how to subscribe to DISH Network.

So basically KBS World used to be only on 61.5 as part of KVP, but now it's free to
121-degree orbital location and current subscriber to America’s Top 60 or above, DISH Latino or above, or the Great Wall TV Package.

GET SBS BACK.. We want SBS. !

That will make some people happy and that is OK. Then why not to include ESPN Deportes to AEP? That will make much more people happy (all those soccer fans :) )

agreed, there should be a soccer package too

If KBS is free with the AT60 package if you have a superdish pointed at 121

why is it not free from 61.5 sat.

and why do I have to pay for it in the KVP package
