According to a police report acquired by at least two Alabama newspapers, Williams admitted to investigators that he physically assaulted another man "and rendered him unconscious" on campus Monday morning at 3:21 CT at Bryant Hall dormitory. Williams then stole a credit card and used it for several purchases, according to police. The report said it was used at a vending machine

Don't think there's any if's about it.

Then see ya! Four spots should open up for incoming players as soon as possible.

This behavior just boggles my mind though. Free ride, wide open possibilities at a top tier program, and they throw it away by doing something stupid like this. Makes no sense.

Alvarez: Big Ten agrees to swear off future FCS creampuffs

http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsport...en-agrees-to-swear-off-future-fcs-creampuffs/

During his monthly radio show Tuesday night, Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez told WIBA-AM his counterparts in the Big Ten have reached an agreement to stop scheduling games against FCS programs.

Insert sec scheduling comments now..........:D

Lets hope the Big Ten follows through on this and the other Big 4 follow suit. It will only improve FBS football.

Looks like we posted at almost the exact same time.

Who will Kentucky get their wins from then?

It sounds great, but it is not nearly the deal it is being made out to be. Who will they replace these teams with? It wont be Bama, or Texas. It will be lower tier FBS teams that likely are not any better than the FCS teams they will replace.

From another forum.

No more FCS schools for the Big Ten?

The Mid-American Conference expects to double the income of its teams.

Akron Zips (MAC) or App State Mountaineers (FCS). Which team would you rather see your team play?

UMass (MAC) or Georgia Southern (FCS)? Which is the better program?

Eastern Michigan (MC) or Wofford(FCS)? Which team knows more about how to win football games?

It is pretty window dressing, but a cupcake is still a cupcake.

It's still a step in the right direction. Here is an article from the Chicago Tribune from September. The lowly MAC just happened to beat 4 BCS conference schools in one day. One of those victories came from my Alma mater, Central Michigan. No the MAC isn't full of power houses but I don't think it's fair to suggest they are weaker than the average FCS teams.

Four victories against opponents from the Big Ten, Big East and Big 12 on Saturday attracted national attention for the conference. Central Michigan edged Iowa 32-31, Western Michigan beat Connecticut 30-24, Ball State defeated South Florida 31-27 and Northern Illinois rallied to knock off Kansas 30-23.
