Hi,

I have a pansat 3500 with a rotor, a 120cm dish and an universal LNB. The problem is with G18 that has most channels polarized vertically. These sometimes show no signal, but if I switch to a horizontally polarised channel (e.g. Pentagon), the reception is perfect. Did anybody observed this behaviour? Thanks in advance.

Daniel

Could be a number of things, dish not tracking arc properly, lnbf not skewed (should be at zero skew on your true south satellite). Do other satellites display both polarities? Check satellite setup screen for G18 to see if you have the proper LO freq. Some will set the LO for you, once you have selected "universal" as the type lnbf you have.

The arc is OK since I can go from 61 to 148 without a problem. All birds had the same problem and my settings were OK. Without any specific reason I decided to re-load the code and the problem went away. I imagine that when I did that there was some kind of reset. Thanks anyway.
Cheers,

Daniel
