Will an HDPVR 530 from Shaw Direct work with only one line to the dish instead of two? The reason I ask is that I don't really need the 'duel tuner' and I'd hate to have to crawl up on this filthy rusty roof again to run another line.

Thanks, all.

One Cable

I run mine off one line, but only get one satelite at time as also use a 10ft dish moving from one satelite to another with a 4DTV therefore only one KU LNB feeding down one line and then splitter behind receiver into both receiver line in's. As long as channel being recorded is same polarity as a different one you are watching it records fine. Pretty much just watch and record the HD channels 284>>287 and they are all same polarity Have in the past used a 22Mhz switch at dish, and a tone generator in line at receiver, to manually switch from one LNB to another as well and send signal down one line, and then split behind receiver. That worked OK as well
