Survivor: Tocantins -- The Brazilian Highlands

"Ego? it's not ego, Jeff" yeah, right..............

Probst sure seems to like him in his blog.

I can't believe that cycling guy has bought into his spiel, and that everyone else hasn't picked him off. Candace had the right idea.

Will be interesting to see if Brendan tells Taj where the idol is hidden.

Lucky for Brendan they won, and lucky for Taj, Spencer didn't do very well at the challenge.

This season seems to be going fast, but it's only the 5th show. Really no interesting dynamics going on between anyone yet.....kinda boring so far.

Agreed. Now if Taj can keep her big mouth shut the cross tribe aliance just might work. That will be a first for Survivor.

I want to see the aliance work just to see how it goes down. I don't really have a favorite though. Haven't felt that real connection with anyone yet.

I just finished this episode last night... I thought Taj had bought herself a ticket on the "walk of shame" for sure... she should get and keep the idol... I noticed last night that this season's episodes are larger on a EHDD than Gabon...

This season is strange. There isn't any alliance form other than the cross tribes one. Usually by this time there will be 2 or even 3 alliances in each tribe, and there will be some tribe switching to mess up those alliances. So far, nothing happens.

The other thing that is different is that usually by this time they have shaken up the tribes a few times by now. Maybe its due to the fact that the tribes have been fairly even sized so far, that it eliminated the need to do that.

Good season, but not as good as last fall.

Oh, and I hate the biker dude. I am convinced he is a slimebag.

I feel bad that Sydney has to go. Her exit interview was one of the most graceful one I have seen. And doesn't Joe watch the last 5 seasons of Survivors? Shouldn't he at least suspect that he got a fake idol? Just look at all the previous clues... it shouldn't be that hard to guess that someone would have found the idol by now.

Kinda predictable last night, lot's of scheming that was all for naught when Joe was evacuated... Brendon and Sierra should have got in touch with their Jalapao alliance and one or the other dodged a bullet with no tribal, I hope things turn around and Tyson or Coach get snuffed soon... JT isn't the trustworthy Good ole boy he seems, though it is Survivor... ;)
