I have a 311 and it is not getting anything from sat. 129. I also have 2 vip 211k s on western arc that work fine . I just need to know about the 311

IIRC, there were some 8PSK mpeg2 locals on 129. Presumably fogbrains is not in such a DMA, so his 311 can't receive anything.

Hmmm. Looking here: http://www.satelliteguys.us/thelist/index.php?search=dn129&sub=true&beamMap=&market=&sort=TYPE

It would appear that DOD channel 4384, Arts channel 4563, the Marquette MI, Bend OR, Lima OH, Parkersburg WV, St Joseph MO, Eric PA, Sioux City IA, Columbus OH, Wausau WI, Charleston WV, Dayton OH (OK, among many other DMAs) SD locals are in mpeg2 QPSK (on various spotbeams), and in 8PSK we have Alpena MI, Alexandria LA, Jonesboro AR, Victoria TX SD locals, and I've stopped looking. There are probably many more. Note that a 311 can decode both QPSK and 8PSK modulation.

There's always the ever-so-exciting test slate on channel 9599 ;) .

Also some religious station on 9393.
