Hi. I'm considering switching from digital cable to DirecTV and I think their midrange channel package has everything I would want except for the YES network. From what I can gather from their website, I would have to subscribe to the sports package and get 20 other sports channels from around the country that I would never watch. Is that the case, or is that considered a "local" channel (I am in Southern CT...Fairfield County)?

YES is part of Total Choice for Fairfield County. I am in northern Fairfield County and do not subscribe to the Sports Pack.
