Nope, but if you come in on every subject under the sun and keep repeating it over and over, even when the post has nothing to do with the comparison, than hey,

You assume wayyy too much. I'm not a D* or E* subscriber! I wasn't pushing E* to the guy either.
You guys take your TV way too serious.
That's great. You'll enjoy TV a whole lot more in HD. Got my first HD set in December of 2003. There are five in the house now. Hmmm, maybe HD isn't such a good thing.
LOL, I was thinking about those little dudes I use to get at the store, remember those little naked guys with the funny hair, reminded me of the Olsen twins, Kate and Ashley when they were little, though I must admit they did kind of grow up into nice looking gals. Doubt Harshness got to be that cute!

Um, time to get the glasses checked again...have you seen the Skeletor twins recently? Both are paper thin and one "went Goth" and quite frankly scares me a little.
No longer the cute girls of their mid- to late-teen years. I always had hope that they would one day grow up from jailbait to "safe" eye candy, but those dreams have been smashed. 
You don't attack, I don't even know why I respond but....you, more than anyone like to bring up the PQ every chance you get just to stir the pot, everyone knows it, you do too. I didn't attack anyone, I called it the way I saw it and in theis particular case, I was right.

The thread was about this guy Moses getting a new HD TV hooking up HD service and being wowed with it.
I cant agree more Moses. I remember when I did the same thing. WOW. Even
Now that I have a 5 month old I spend less time watching TV and the TV I usually end up watching is the ones closer to the baby's room which are SD.
When I do come down and turn on the 50"sony I still get that wow feeling. I love it.
Congratulations on your new set up.
As for the rest of this thread. It was like watching the sharks swim and poke. Vurbano started with raised eyebrow, what other HD providers hav you had kind of thing.
But I at least give him credit for realizing this thread wasnt about D* vs E* although it seems every thread ends up there.
digiblur stuck a toe in the water...and tiptoed around. HD DVD and OTA will both have PQ that will WOW you Moses so if you get a chance take a peek. Although, Scott has mentioned that his MPEG4 rivals OTA so you may not need to go through so much effort.
Yes Vurbano and digiblur you were jumped on. HOWEVER, your track record in D* bashing set the whole mess up.
So back to Moses,

I am so happy for you and your set up. Im glad you enjoy that wow feeling and hope someday there will be a bluray HDDVD winner so we can all start loading up on movies in HD.
But until then enjoy your HD, which in MPEG 4 is about as good as OTA. I know you must be excited about the mountain of HD channels which are about to be unloaded on us!

Stating facts and posting frames of PQ problems is not bashing. Its dealing with reality, for an adult that is.

The OP, Moses, who I think has never seen any form of HD before is impressed with Directv's HD.
