What are Dish CSR Saying about adding hd Feb. 1

I know a few people out there have said that Dish's csr has told them to expect more hd February 1. I also know it does not mean anything until they show up in our guide. If you have time, call or get online chat with a Dish csr and ask the question about adding hd February 1. Please post it here as it will be interesting of thier response. I did already and they just told me that they did not have any updated information.

He may be, but he is also correct. Scott here will find out just about the same time (and sometimes before) a CSR will. So if they are saying that something will be added, they are saying it to get you off the phone and answer questions they actually should know answers to.

When I spoke to a CSR to inquire about what my termination charge would be he said E* was adding a bunch of new HD channels in Feb but he lost the list of what they were.

With some HD channels now changing transponders on Echostar 5 and Echostar 3, I believe more HD channels are coming real soon.

The online chat rep told me that HD was being added on Feb 1 but she didn't know what. I don't think CSRs have any information, it was just a "yes, more HD is coming" kind of thing.

Yeah, possible, maybe even probable. But just as likely that the CSRs have been told there are new HD *plans* coming out on 2/1 as opposed to new channels. I'm not holding my breath.
