I don't know if anybody else has mentioned this or if anyone has noticed but when you click on the link to programming packages on the website for DISH Network and select either AT100 or AT100+, you'll notice neither make mention of the NFL Network now. So it has, at least, been removed from that package on the website.

I was talking about where it shows all the channels that come along with the AT100 and AT100+. I may have missed it on there but I don't think so.

I'm right along with you, though. I'd be pissed. Overall, though, I watch Big Ten much more (especially during the college football season). I bet it will be on constantly when baseball and softball start in my house.

What about the people with Dish Latino?? I have Dish latino Max.

They better not remove NFL Network from my package.

Pretty amazing to think DISH has jacked my rates up $3/month for AT100 and taken away NFL Network (the channel making me think that my rate increase was $3 instead of $2 to give an extra dollar to NFL Network).

If I get my bill and find my AT100 has been frozen at the pre-February rate, I'd be more satisfied about the NFL Network move. I'd also be more satisfied if a miracle happens and The MTN. gets added to my AT100 package lineup (since I'm losing BTN).

I pretty much watched NFL Network for the 8 games plus the Super bowl replay with bonus content, but if you are going to remove this channel that I feel was responsible for a good part of the rate increase I'm paying, DISH needs to offer me something of substance in return for losing NFL Network or cut my rate down towards $30.

Let me guess. If they don't, you are going to leave!?!

And yet, even though it's not a part of Top 100 anymore, the HD pages still claim you can get it with Top 100 + Dish HD Essentials. *grrr*

DISH Network -- Dish HD

When will Dish learn to communicate with its potential and current customers?

Well, I will find out tonight if I truly still have the channel with the $29 HD package when I get home from work tonight (unless, of course, someone else can confirm if us DishHD $29 customers are still getting the channel).

I did the switch to the HD standalone package with locals when it was first introduced, and yes, the NFL network is on there. I'm a die hard football fan, and switched from TWC because they didn't have the NFLN. I was considering dropping to the AT100 package from AT200, because the NFLN was supposed to be there, but went with the HD only, as it would have saved me about $10 per month. A couple of days ago, I was getting prompts to upgrade the programing to keep the NFLN, when I was watching, but after today's switch, I'm all good!

Long time lurker. First time poster. I have the AT100 and noticed that NFLN was gone this morning. I am thinking about upgrading to AT200 to get it.

My question is if I downgrade from HD ultimate to HD essential as I don't watch the VOOm networks all that much, will I be able to get the NFL HD on it...?

Yes you would as NFL Network is in the AT200 package. (Any HD channel which has the same channel in SD in your AT package you will get with the Essentials package)

I have a stupid question: are there really 100 channels on AT100 or is it just a round-up number? I know they can change their line up as see fit but do they always put something else back when they take out something?

There was typically more channels than the package name implied. Of course, a lot of channels are "filler", i.e. audio/music, shopping channels, public-interest (free otherwise). This page, DISH Network -- America's Top 100, lists the channels in AT100. I counted (131) (66 in 1st column x 2 minus 1). (24) are public-interest; (35) are audio; (18) are shopping; and (5) are religious. How many "real" channels does that leave ?
