HD Theater PQ Sucks

Is it just me or did HD theater PQ suck this weekend ? I was watching the Mecum car auction and the picture was constantly pixelating and macroblocking. Was almost unwatchable. I switched over to NFL HD and the pic quality was some of the best I've seen that wasn't OTA . What gives ? If this is the symtom of more compression and cutting back on bandwidth, we *E customers are in for a bumpy ride.

Most of the old mpeg2 channels aint so hot, so I agree.

I don't even watch the mpeg2 hd channels anymore they are so bad and it's especially bad when there is fast motion.

What mpeg2 channels are left? Or, are HBO, ESPN and TNT still mpeg2?

Yeah I was watching an American Chopper the other night and it looked so bad...

Cant wait for these MPEG2 channels to go MPEG4.
