Everybody complaints about WFN, but where is the HD content on BravoHD?

Another waste of bandwith... This channel has aired "0" HD to us subs. Another great channel brought to you by Dish Network along with WFN HD. They have to be the biggest waste of bandwith on Dish Satellite.

I love WFN, its one of my favorites on the hd only pack, yeah it sucks no HD YET, but it will come, but as far as the channel, I love it

Look for LOTS of true HD content on WFN this fall. They are working on ramping it up now and are building a good library.

I told Eric Sahl I would rather see Outdoor Channel 2 HD then WFN.

I can't wait for WFN2 and WFNNews.

Most of these new channels suck IMO.

Big time!!!

Its truely a sad state of affairs. WFN??? You have got to be kidding me?? I thought this was a joke when they listed this originally.

New lows for Dish network. What a joke HD leader! Yeah right...

I really cant get excited over anything dish throws at us. Its all garbage.

This weekend I did see they were showing LAW AND ORDER:CI in HD, however that's the only HD i've seen on that channel.

It seems weird that Bravo has so little HD. Bravo HD was already on the air FIVE years ago!

Although, I suppose Bravo has changed a lot in that 5 years. It's now another generic reality show channel. Amazing to think that at one time, Bravo was a PREMIUM channel!

Hd or not pretty much a waste.

I think that they added Bravo HD & CNBC HD to be ready for all the Olympic Coverage on the various NBC-owned networks this summer. They already had USA-HD & SCIFI-HD.

I can't recall, but didn't MSNBC also have some limited Olympic coverage in 2006?

Yes, pretty much every NBC channel did except Sci-Fi.

The only press release I can find says that HD will only be on USA, Universal, and NBC, with SD on MSNBC and CNBC. But that was dated August 2007. With CNBC HD and Bravo HD getting wide coverage since then, I would expect to see HD there as well.

Aside from Law and Order: CI, I've seen an occasional movie in HD and shows from NBC being reaired on Bravo HD like Journeyman. But overall there hasn't a lot. Of the HD channels that have actually shown HD I'd say Bravo has shown the least amount of HD.

So bizarre. Bravo HD used to be HD 24/7 back when hardly anyone got it. :(

How is it we have hundreds more channels than we did 20 years ago, but there's actually fewer niche's served. I mean, what's the real difference between, say, Bravo, VH1 and E!? 20 years ago, they were all completely different. Now, their programming is interchangable.

Could you give it a rest already? We realize you are upset about the Voom channels (of which you appear to have some sort of financial or emotional interest in) going away.

The people who got Dish's side of the story seem to be more than satisfied with their answer, and it has become what seems to be common knowledge that Dish wanted to leave 5 channels, Voom said all or none.

Yeah, Like Charlie is honest:)
