OK, this is to start off a thread for people wanting to support American and other workers around the world and avoid Chinese products which support a authoritarian dictatorship and siphons our dollars, etc, etc...

MADE IN USA:
CABLE: virtually all Belden cables. RG6 & 11 -Solid copper, burial etc.
Vextra cables -the entire line.
Plastic ties, check the label, many manufacturers of American ties.
Electric Tape: 3M, Scotch
Low Voltage caddy fasteners: Enrico
Antennas: Channel Master Element series

AROUND THE WORLD:
SONY TV's "M" series were designed by and are made in Mexico.
Switches, diplexers, amplifiers: Spaun & Satellite USA (Germany)

Avoid like the plague - terrible quality:
Perfect Vision electric tape (China)

NOTE: please add to this list with products you know about. I have just begun retooling our store for Made in USA products and these are the ones I know about. We also found a source for Cat5 and telephone but I forgot who they are right now. I would love to find a source for splitters, switches, etc...anybody know of one??

Are any TVs of US origin these days?

here is a link with some information:
U.S. Stuff Product - Televisions Made in USA
so it looks like projection TV's might be the only ones made here. The main problem is the LCD screens and Plasma panels are all made in a few factories in Korea, China and Japan and Japan is trying to move their factories and shut them down. Since all the panels are made there and the components are made there, they are also assembled there.

edit: just noticed somebody else posted about this link. Actually a couple of entries are from 2003, but the main point remains, probably rear projection is the only hope for something made in USA...will check further...

I have never had a problem with Perfect Vision - I have hundreds of feet of that cable run throughout my yard and house - lots of it is buried, some under water and others exposed to the elements. I have used it for several years now. When I had Dish, the installer alos used Perfect Vision - and I have not had any problems with his runs either. BUT, I am glad to know what is made where, as I will consider that the next time I order cable :)
