Hi all,

Lots of questions this week :-)

The LNB I have right now is:

Mini-Mag 140011
Input: 3.7 - 4.2 ghz
Output: 950-1450 Mhz
Gain: 65 db
Noise: 30k

Now, before I put up this dish with this LNB, I was wondering about something:

  • If I use this LNB, will it be c-band only?
  • Will it suffice for 4DTV when I decide to go that route later?
  • What can I get with this LNB right now?
  • If I want 4DTV later, should I change to another LBN? What?
  • Is there one c-band LNB that will give me: analog, digital and 4DTV? What
  • One more: considering I have the Chaparral feednorn, is there an easy way to also inclide KU, without buying a new feedhorn?

1) Only the C-Band
2) Best way to tell if it will work for 4dtv is install it and see how the picture looks, that all I'm using on my C-band feedhorns.
3) Since you don't have 4dtv receiver..not much but some analog channels
4) see 2
5) you will need a 4dtv receiver 922 0r 920 or 905
6) If it a standard C-band feedhorn and not a CoRotor ..... NO

It's Chaparral Corotor II which has one C-band port and one Ku port and a adjustable scalar ring.

This LNB will work well with C band on the 4DTV. The California Amplifier's are good quality.
