What city has the biggest Sports Title Drought?

Oh please. Don't act like I would be treated like royalty if I came marching into that crappy swamp field of yours in my Bernie Kosar jersey and my Orange converse shoes!

It's the same way with Red Sox and Yankees fans at Fenway and The Stadium.

We wouldn't slash your tires. Might make fun of your jersey, but wouldn't slash your tires.

For the record, I don't think that statement's very fair. You can't just characterize an entire city and fan base. Personally, I've never seen a tire slashed at a Browns/Steelers game and I go every year.

Still hanging on to those "glory years", Matt?:D

I have lived by a rule my entire life in that I don't purchase a jersey until that player retires. With my luck, I would spend $70+ on a players jersey and he would get traded, cut or worse and that jersey would become useless. I saw way too many people in Cleveland in years past sporting their Tim Couch, Kelly Holcumb, William Green or Cortney Brown jerseys to learn.

Who's William Green? I know who the other guys are, but I have NEVER heard of him.

I'm the opposite.

A day after my Sabres acquired Pat LaFontaine, I immediately went out and got his jersey.

He was our 2002 first round selection (16th overall). Another genius choice by Botch.... errrr. Butch Davis! ;)

Green was a RB from Boston College. He never succeeded on the Browns and was known more for his off the field antics. He got arrested several times for possession of marijuana and was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife. (Although his wife was the one who did the beating!) She stabbed in the butt! (I couldn't make this up!)

Anyways, he never made it past the '05 season and is out of the league now.

I have two Mario Jerseys, and a Big Ben jersey.

I may break my rule this year. With this latest batch of promising Brownies, I'm very tempted.

I'm debating between:

Josh Cribbs (Kent St. Alumn. Same as me. Undrafted Walk-On. Truly inspiring story. Great guy in the community. Great passion, plays the game the right way)

Braylon Edwards (Michigan Alumn. This is the only reason I haven't bought his jersey yet!)

Joe Thomas (How can you not like the guy! He's the biggest reason for our success last year. He goes fishing instead of attending the draft! Although the offensive line isn't exactly a glorified position)

Any votes?

Since you're a Buckeyes fan, I know you would feel weird wearing the jersey of a former Wolverine.

Oh, and Joe Thomas was a former Badger, and he also gave the Buckeyes trouble.

Go with Cribbs- he's the AFC's version of Devin.

William Green, what a sin! I was expecting great things from him when he graduated from the Heights, he just couldn't stay out of trouble.

To be fair, he DID draft Winslow and Edwards.

Botch drafted Winslow not Edwards. Botch was fired after the 2004 season. Edwards was drafted in 2005. And the only reason Botch drafted KW2 was that he was a UofM guy. 95% of the time, Botch drafted Miami guys, because that's what he knew being an ex-coach there.

2005 was the first season under the new regime and MUCH more able Phil Savage. Savage picked Edwards with his first pick. The rest is history.

I was leaning towards a Cribbs one. I'm waiting to find an "authentic" one on eBay.

Edwards is probably the only high-choice in the 2005 Draft that looks like a great choice.

Alex Smith- His offensive numbers are offensive, and not in a good way

Ronnie Brown- Injured a lot, but he still has time to save his career

Cedric Benson- Where do I even begin?

Carnell 'Cadillac' Williams- Can you say one-year wonder?

I'll bet at the time you weren't happy when he was drafted.

Were you like, "They drafted a Michigan player?! %$#%#$%#$%#"

I actually didn't mind this pick. I got to see the great talent that Braylon had when the Bucks played Meatchicken every year. When he donned the Browns cap and jersey for the first time, I instantly forgave all his prior sins....

PS. Pacman came from that draft class too! He went #6 to the Titans. As it turns out, BE was the best pick at this spot by far.

Oh get over it.:D The last Lions jersey I bought (The only jersey I ever bought) was a Chris Speilman model. I never held it against him, that he came from "that evil School down South". The man was a true warrior. He played one season with a torn pectoral muscle. I still consider him one of the best MLB's to play the game. I was pissed beyond all reason when the Lions got rid of him. Morons.
