Here are the details of the 922s from Team Summit in May. (Note it was names the 722s at the show and has now been renamed the 922)

Innovation Shines in Nashville - The Satellite Dish - Blog on Multichannel News
Note that we were the first and only site to be at the show and report on this exciting new receivers. (It should be noted that Dave Zats of ZatsnotFunny.COM was also there but could not talk about the new receiver until I did because at that time he was a Sling employee)
Also note that at the same time that we were meeting with Charlie Ergen while the other guy James Long was living at home with his mommy with his thumb up his butt.
The other site claims that nothing exists until it is officially released.
I have been working with both Dish and Sling on the 922 and I have been talking to them a lot about it over the past few weeks. It is going to have a MAJOR role at CES this year. And I can't wait to see it.
In fact before the original poster of this thread posted this message I actually talked about the 922 in my MultiChannel News column yesterday.
Dish's Eastern Arc to Expand - The Satellite Dish - Blog on Multichannel News Hows that for timing.
While James Long lives in the world of denial and pretend things dont exist I will continue to bring you the latest Dish Network and DirecTV news first. (And we are getting a lot better on the DirecTV side of things which I know they are not happy about)
I bet James Long a dozen doughnuts that the 922 will be shown at CES in January and will contain Sling Technology and all the features I discussed way back in May.
James Long is the Bagdhad Bob of the satellte world, but I can't be too hard on him, he is a major reason for our success. So many people have been driven away from the other forum because of James and have joined SatelliteGuys that I should probably thank him. He has been one of the keys to our success.
Anyways the 922 looks like it will be a very exciting receiver and I can't wait to see it and own one for myself.
