Wrong. Ball State is in the MAC's Western Division. They are leading that division with a record of 10-0, 6-0 in their conference. Ball State plays neither Buffalo or Akron. Ball States final two game are against Central Michigan (8-2, 6-0) and Western Michigan (8-2, 5-1).

I meant in the MAC Championship Game.

HD,

switching gears to the Buckeyes for a minute.

Since you were born after Woody Hayes and Archie, who was the greatest Buckeye football player you ever saw?

I'll give you my opinion.
I was around in the Hayes and Archie era.

Archie has always been a favorite of mine.

The Greatest Buckeye in MY opinion is Chris Spielman.

Chris Spielman.com: Ohio State & All-Pro Linebacker

Eddie George is another favorite of mine.

Jimbo

Troy Smith

3 seasons as the starter. 3 Big Ten Titles. 3 wins against Michigan. 3 Bowl Games (Alamo, Fiesta and BCS Championship).

2006 Fiesta Bowl MVP
2006 Heisman Trophy Winner

In three games against Michigan, Smith has a total of 1,151 yards of total offense, two rushing touchdowns, and seven passing touchdowns. The Buckeyes won all three games, making Smith the first Ohio State quarterback since Tippy Dye (1934-1936) to quarterback in three victories over Michigan, and the first to win three straight games against Michigan as a starter.
