Mike Leach to Washington is not a bad move. UW is putting a lot of money into their program (facilities). The NW may not be a hot bed for recruits but UW has always been able to get guys from CA. Plus, he would have some TX roots now to be able to pull some guys out of state.
Outside of USC, Pac 10 is up for grabs. In the B12, he is always going to have to deal with OU and Texas, and that is just his division.

Damn! I guess a 85-40 record, a 13-0 record just 4 years ago and a 7-3 overall winning record (including 6 in a row) against conference rival Alabama doesn't buy you a free pass in the SEC.
If he's not swooped up by another team by next year, Michigan should keep Tuberville on their short list of candidates to replace Rich-Rod if he doesn't turn things around in Ann-Arbor next year.

Speaking as an LSU fan, my only real consolation is that one of you will get your arse beat in the SECCG.
That said, I too will be pulling for the winner in the MNC. Geaux SEC!
You think texas or OU or TT would be rooting for whomever the big 12 sends to the title game? SEC seems to put their fav team first, then will support their conference more then most other conferences, at least from my expeirance here.
