NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

That never should have happened.

Ball State SHOULD have had a touchdown, but the refs somehow thought he was out-of-bounds.

They got HOSED!

I may have been born in Buffalo, but I feel that a Bulls win would be TAINTED because of what I think may be one of the biggest blown calls I've ever seen.

Why was that TD not reviewed?

This was the SECOND TIME the refs are screwing over Ball State!

If Ball State loses, then their unbeaten season wasn't ended by Buffalo- rather, it would have come at the hands of a bumbling officiating crew!

Another Buffalo TD that resulted from a HORRIBLE official review.

Are the refs CONSPIRING against Ball State?

Two fumble returns that came from two IDIOCTIC referee review problems.

WTF!?

A botched snap leads to another long Buffalo return for a TD! (Sabres, you should be thrilled)

How does this happen?

BTW Sabres, there's plenty of time left for Ball State to come back. I'm not worried.

This isn't Ball State's fault- that was horrible officiating.

Consider-

1st fumble return for a TD only came about because a touchdown was waived off on a HORRIBLE CALL

2nd fumble return for a TD came from a catch being turned over by ANOTHER horrible call

What's the 2nd bad call you reference?

Ball State appeared to have a first down in the red zone, only to have it reversed on a bad call. That was followed by the second fumble for a TD.

As you can see, Buffalo is benefitting from bad officiating.

I may have been born there, bu I am NOT rooting for Buffalo. It would be a tainted title, ala the Steelers against the Seahawks in Super Bowl XL.

HD,
Two pretty bad calls reversed Ball State TD and a First down inside the 10 on seperate drives.
One Buffalo took the other way when Davis ran instead of throwing to the open rec. and fumbled and the second was a catch inside the 10 that they decided wasn't a catch and the center then snapped the ball too soon and it bounced around and Buffalo picked it up and went the distance.

All bounces have went Buffalo's way tonight, so far, just starting the 4th.

Exactly.

This would be one of the biggest screwjobs in college football history, if not sports history.

Worse than the Ohio State/Miami pass interference play, worse than the Oregon/Oklahoma onside kick, worse than the Steelers/Seahawks Super Bowl.

Were not arguing about that again are we ????

Not a wise idea to bring that up with myself and Jimbo here Sabres!

Bad calls or not, isnt this the team that turned down the game against boise state? I would LOVE to see them lose after that for some reason

WHY
Why should a team have to play a game in a BOWL game no less at thier HOME stadium.
Only a few teams in the country get that advantage, unfortunatly USC does every year.

I think if you qualify for a bowl game you should NOT be allowed to play a home game.

They mentioned Ball State and ND earlier in the telecast.

Boise St. wanted the game at their home field and wouldn't accept anything else. Obviously, Ball St. wanted a neutral site. I don't blame them at all.

It was a bowl game. In my understanding Boise got invited to the game, which happened to be on their home field. Ball state got invited also. The declined for the reason you gave, which isnt a good reason if you are good enough. The excuse doesnt fly IMHO. Who cares what field it is on. It would have been a good bowl game, and Ball (less) state didnt want to play it for whatever reason.
