As an installer I have replaced roughly 25 over the course of 2008. Simply because people would gripe about the fan being too loud, and the hard drive clicking when it was cleaning and removing junk. The 722 is imperfect and I kind of hope it's successor the 722k is smaller, efficient, and easier to install.
Used to use one of those. I replaced it with a home theater fan that keeps my 622 much cooler. The fan moves ~50cfm while running almost silently. Plenty to keep my 622 running quite cool while making almost no sound at all...
I've wanted to throw mine out the window many times, but I've never had it replaced. I figure that the 622 is just kind of buggy, and a replacement won't make a difference.
