SlingGuide - Problems

Firefox on a MAC works for me.
Firefox on a PC works as well.
Safari on an iPhone works too.

This, for me, was the easiest setup I've ever had. I'm very impressed.

is anyone having problems getting the slingplayer plugin to work for slingbox...i have tried it on both firefox and IE and am not having any luck. Any suggestions

Yesterday, HD locals were added for my DMA. My 722 is configured for HD priority on locals so the new HD channels replaced the SD locals in my EPG. Immediately after the HD channels were lit, those channels were no longer viewable on the SlingGuide grid. The remaining SD locals with no HD counterpart are still visible.

I had to run a Check Switch to update the EPG on the 722 last night. I thought that might reset the SlingGuide, but it didn't. Has anyone else seen this and, if so, were you able to resolve it?

If nothing else, I'll try a hard reboot of the 722 tonight and see what happens.

Slingguide on the iPhone yes, but watching video on the iPhone no.

Hopefully Sling will be submitting the Player to Apple for approval soon (and hopefully Apple approves it)

Sorry if this has already been covered:

1. Is there an email address for SlingGuide beta-related questions?
2. Can only Slingboxes that are connected to the SlingGuide-enabled received be 'added'? In other words, I've got a Slingbox connected to a second receiver (not the one with SlingGuide on it) and was wondering whether I could add that Slingbox.

yes your can add a 622/722 with an attached slingbox

I have submitted at least five feedback comments on bugs and suggestions. Dish has not fixed one of them yet. Has anyone seen any fixes yet. This is the most one sided beta that I have ever participated in. TiVo sends on test instructions and you get emails asking for more details on bugs found. No wonder Dish hardware is so buggy, if this is an example of how they do betas.

Yes, at first there were no OTA channels at all in the grid. Now, most of them are there. I believe the "Clear Space" functionality was added since the beta started...

I had the same issue and it resolved it self after the 2nd 3 am reboot, my only issue is that while the new locals show up in the sling guide, they are reflecting the wrong time zone, i am in central and the guide is listing eastern for the new added locals only

I still don't have my OTA channels in my grid and that was one of the suggestions that I made.
