That is not correct.

There is plenty of bandwidth available for all the National HD channels that people are asking for.

Once Ciel-2 came online, any bandwidth restraints ended.

The only possible reason for not turning on National HD is marketing.

Kstuart,

IMO = In my opinion.

Since we don't know the real reason why they haven't launched any National HD channels, your "opinion" about marketing being the reason could be incorrect too. ;)

dish just told me that i dont have 129
so i have to pay 60 bucks to get the installation

:(

im assuming every dish customer in the rio grande valley will have to do the same since we had no programming on 129 before

Tell Dish

You should have told dish, after they told you of the cost to come out and redirect your dish, in a questioning way..."I wonder how much Directv would charge to come set up their dish instead.

I could have sworn KLRT was showing available... did a hard reboot... didn't come up and checked the Uplink again... now showing unavailable.

Hmmm.

:(

yeah i had to check whether or not Directv had my locals in HD first

which they do

though dish has me under contract

let the games begin

what is your dish setup? do you have two dishes? one for 110/119 and one for 61.5? if you do you can just swing your wing dish for 61.5 around to 129.

The TMP channel moves are good news. Those channels have been improperly mirrored, but now they are ready to go.

That brings us back up to 20 TMP HD channels that are properly mirrored. (There are 14 more that are NOT)

has any one else noticed that all east coast channels of showtime and the movie channel are off are at 430 am tonight could something be up tonight?

i agree - BUT - i remember being on cloud 9 when my city got locals in HD....

I was too considering it was the only new HD that had been added in months. Then it took another month for Dish to straighten out a problem on their end with us actually being able to tune our locals. Now a price increase and still nothing to show for that increase. Makes it hard to keep the faith.

are only my sd locals on 61.5?
there aren't any other channels on that satellite?

if so...that would be great and easy!

according to "The List" your sd locals are coming off 110 and your HD locals are on 129, so if you have two dishes like i said before, swing the 61.5 around to 129 and you should be good to go. here is a link to a previous post on how to do just that. hope this helps you get your hd locals.

A bit odd, but Dish has nothing to do with your guide info. It's provided by Tribune. Dish probably wouldn't be that obvious anyways. Maybe the movie channels are doing some maintenance during that period?

In this case with Showtime, the "Off Air" time slots fit in with the programming and the West feeds are Off Air 3 hours later. DiSH would actually be more obvious and they would take the East and West down at the same time and they likely would go unavailable, not just display a TEST Pattern. To say that DiSH has nothing to do with your guide info is a bit extreme, especially when there are 2 short adjacent time slots "Off Air".
