I cancelled platinum to pare down my bill after the increase. The next day a free 3 month trial for it showed up in "My Offers". I guess if you sub to Platinum HD and want to save $25, just cancel and sign up again.

I canceled mine about a month ago. Platinum was a huge waste of money, I didn't realize I had it as I don't do the bills. When I saw I did, and the few stupid channels I got from it, I called up immediately to have it removed.

I cut Platinum and I cut HBO and Cinemax. I can't get Cinemax for a penny because I'm bundled with my phone company (makes me wonder what else I'm missing out on).
I had DHPP on there in anticipation of moving to the new house but chopped it off because I still haven't sold house #1.

This cut a lot out of my bill. I'm basically AT250 DVR advantage with HD.

Now if they'd just get DIY and the Military Channel on HD, then I could switch to just HD.

Yes, cancelled Platinum HD also. Their really is no need for this extra tier they should just put it in the Gold HD or put them into the AED along with HD.

This tier made sense to me when it had VOOM. When VOOM was gone I cancelled it. The only channel I missed was Smithsonian. Well, it's gone now too.

Same here. I can't wait to see the savings, after all, those channels haven't been missed either.

I had got it free for 3 months, once that special was over I canceled it as well.

I get NHL Network and NBA TV as part of my Center Ice/League Pass packages so I am not missing out on those.

Actually, I just subscribed to it ... getting it free for 3 months When I did have it I did watch Universal quite a bit ...

I have watched HDNET Movies on occasion, but rarely any of the other channels. MGM HD is a big disappointment, and I won't even get into the HD fishing channel. This package would be overpriced at $5/mo., best to roll it into HD Gold.

Why pays $10 or more for HD platinum, if u can get HBO or Showtime for same price!!. HBO or Showtime is better & more channels compare to the old hack MGM and HDNET!!

I Will be cancelling Platinum when My free 3 months are done.If enough of us subscribers cancell this maybe they will get the picture and lower prices or ad it to one of there packages.Definately not worth it.
