Rick Pitino Starring in Knocked Up 2

This will play out like the Hatfields and McCoys in Kentucky. Who'd have thought that John Calipari might not be the sleaziest coach in the state now? :D

He made a mistake. I mean I can see it your way if there was a pattern.....but he made A mistake....

....is it me or has sports figures become "guilty until proven innocent"?

How is he innocent? He already admitted what went on. My point was just based on reputation. Calipari already has a lousy reputation. Now Pitino joins him.

Calipari's reputation was for ALOT of things....Pitino only did this once...a mistake...NOT a pattern.
It makes no difference why someone's reputation is bad, just that it is. And like Sandra said how well do you really know Rick Pitino? Would you have believed any of this a week ago?

NO....and until MORE dirt comes out...or does not come out....he is NO WAY in the same sentence as Calipari.

You can debate levels of sleaziness, but they are both sleazy.

ONE mistake...that we know of...and he is just as sleezy as Calipari?

Wow, thank GOD that is just YOUR opinion. I hope know one in YOUR family makes a mistake and YOU find out about it....you will be hard to convince it was a mistake.:(:no

Apparently Pitino is pretty good at covering things up, so nobody can answer this.

Sandra

People are afraid of people just like some here that if one mistake, you are instant sleeze. Tell me, if he would have told the true at the beginning, would some in here STILL think he was sleeze..? More than likely, yes....

That's not what I said. Try re-reading my post. Calipari may be more sleazy but they are both sleazy. And I wonder if Pitino's wife is as understanding as you seem to be. "Oh it was just one teeny tiny little mistake, and six years ago. Water under the bridge." I'm sure Mrs. Pitino is just fine with all this.

He got drunk and had sex with a woman he had just recently met on a restaurant table. Do you really think this was his only indiscretion or mistake as you like to call it??

The fact that Pitino covered it up for six years, and only admitted it when he had no other choice, means there could be other things he's covering up. That's what I said.

Google search results,
"contains all these words"

Calipari + sleazy: 9,670 pages
Pitino + sleazy: 1,670 pages

Calipari has Pitino beat, six to one.

And 357 of the 1,670 "Pitino + Sleazy" pages also include the word, "Calipari", so they are not necessarily laying that term on Pitino

Calipari + slick 6,700 pages
Pitino + slick 8,810 pages

In fairness to Pitino, since slick rhymes with Rick, it did become a nickname that was used in contexts other than recruiting.

And as a reference:

(AntAltMike's real last name) + slick, 6,860 pages
(AntAltMike's real last name) + sleazy 1,810 pages

Someone with my relatively uncommon last name is a producer, and so comparing slickness of productions in his field is not an ethical slur but is, rather, a commonly evaluated professional assessment.

I googled Yankees & Champions and it returned 40 bazillion pages. Then I googled Phillies and Champions, and there were two and a half pages.

Yay! Yankees are the champions! :D

How do you know he has not discussed this with his wife already, since this happened 6 years ago?! You guys are assuming ALOT of stuff.

Agains, there is no track record of this, there is no history of this...so you guy have answered my question clearly. We HAVE gottten to the point that when it comes to sports figures, it IS guilty until proven innocent.

Isiah Thomas freak show rolls on

What a season by Hanley Ramirez....
