Stonecold is good at helping people out here. Maybe you can try him first. Better yet, what is the issue?

Not sure if you guys are serious or not...are you really taken back by my post? get a grip if so. Thought this forum was for members to get help & discuss issues...BTW the issue with Directv is the one pertaining to not being able to get the advertised $5 a month AT&T/Directv Bundle discount - which still hasn't happened yet but I'm communicating with Directv's "Customer Advocate Dept." still.

I'm not taken back by your post. I was just suggesting you give us the details so we as a forum might give you some ideas. StoneCold has been helpful in the past, but apparently he forgot to take his happy pills today :D...Bad day at D* Stone???

Stone did say it's an AT&T issue, so you might try there first. I haven't tried the bundle discount myself. I assumed it would go like yours and end up being more hassle than it was worth...

No it's all good guys - no hard feelings. well Directv Customer Care Rep, Amanda called me today, she did try to help but it is an AT&T issue as you say (contrary to what 3 AT&T CSR told me! :(
From what I'm reading AT&T has the worst reputation for CSR, although I'm sure like anything there are exceptions. So I also emailed an AT&T mgr. today here in CT, we'll see if I hear back. Any old AT&T rep should in theory be able to "opt me in" on their end and then send the order over to Directv to verify that I qualify on the D side, i.e. that I sub to enough programming. Will let ya know if I get it in the end.
