Epix listings in guide

I would suggest you zoom thru it. Indy is a longer movie than Iron Man by 12 mins. So I doubt you have the ending. Better rerecord it on another showing.
I did zoom through it and it is all there, recording is 2:30 in length, the end of Indy was still about 30 minutes short of the end of the recording.

the time should be longer

The movie is 2:42 according to Rotten Tomatoes. I had to extend mine 15 than I stopped it while it recorded. Something isn't there if you have it at 2:30. I just looked at the record time and it says 2:04 so the guide being wrong must have been a problem. I guess Rotten Tomatoes time is wrong. IMDB says it's only 122 mins so it's really only 2:02.

According to the Epix schedule the movie was Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. IMDB says it is 122 minutes long. I bet he got it all...

If EPIX was on DIRECTV the guide would still be an issue since both DISH Network and DIRECTV get their guide data from the same place.

Same problem here: Got Indiana Jones instead. I'm cool with that as I planned on watching it anyway. Still listed in my recordings as Iron Man which sucks if I want to keep Indiana Jones and record Iron Man whenever it's on. Of course the DVR will skip it because it thinks it's already there so I'll have to restore. Guess I'll go to the EPIX guide to see when Iron Man is really on.

I haven't had any of the recording issues as others have so I count myself very lucky. But all the "minor" bugs are really starting add up though I don't count this as this is not Dish's fault.

Tribune can't count either. On some shows (not all) the episode numbers cannot possibly be right. Look at the Bonanza's on TV Land tomorrow (Sun) afternoon. Numbers in the high 200's in the early 1960's? Impossible.

Just edit the title to Indy & crystal sk. That's what I did. Description is still wrong. If you want it perfect then delete it and rerecord using EPIX guide on line.

Dish is at fault they could pick another provider for their guide. Dish picked tribune because it is cheap not the best. Charlie is a cheap b---t at heart.

Since imdb says 122 mins, I extended my ending by 2 minutes today, since it has a start time of 3pm and ends at 5pm. My timer will end at 5:02pm. That ought to get all of it.

I had a timer set last night for Iron Man just in case it was actually Iron Man. Since it wasn't, I stopped the recording and deleted it. We'll see what this afternoon has in store...

On the EPIX website it says that if you want a subscription to the website to call Dish.

This is what you get with a subscription:

When you subscribe to EPIX, you don't only get a cable TV channel and a Video On-Demand service, but also a website with movies. With EPIX, you can watch your favorite movies any time, anywhere.

I called Dish and they had no clue what I was talking about. So on epixhd.com I set up an account and then tried to subscribe, which looks free if your TV provider has the channel, but the only two providers in the drop-down menu were FIOs and Mediacom, even though there are several providers that carry EPIX.

I also wonder about the VOD portion of the subscription. Sounds great but somehow I see Dish screwing this up.

You would think that since Dish is paying royality fees to TV Guide that they would get their listing from TV Guide. Or does Tribune own TV Guide.

Thanks, I'll watch it first to see if it's any good, then delete and re-record.

I hope subscription part gets worked out soon if it doesn't cost anything.
Am I dreaming??

bforce, I'd make that re-record and then delete, although it should be on several times and sorry to say under several names. Keep the bird you have in hand until you have a better one.

Yes dfergie, I have cut my leading extension to zero so I missed the first minute too.
