DIRECTV Announces New HD!

These are the new HD's I'm getting: WGN, ESPNU, MSNBC, Travel. Am I missing any? Also, I still have problems tuning them in even after doing a reset. I get the searching for satellite signal for a minute or so then they finally come in. Any idea what may be wrong?

did you check your signal levels from D12?
 
Well silly me playing catchup, this morning I noticed when I told my system to record Andrea Mitchell it was showing as HD, big surprise for me, hehe. Then went looking for Hallmark and was getting the silly 721 MSG but finally got that sorted out. Hopefully they do something about their bug because, as is, HMC's is so big and intrusive that its going to make me tend to not watch it.

I thought if you made custom favorites that if a new channels was added it automatically added into all the list initially but wasn't the case for Hallmark. Had to edit my Favs list to include it. Is there a thread I can follow that lists when new channels come on line and what the channels are so I can keep an eye out for when their added?

I can say that I have seldom watched the Travel Channel. Since the launch in HD I have been watching it just to try it out, and I can say that I have been presently surprised. The Bizarre foods show is pretty cool. Man vs. Food though is not my thing.
 
I actually like the man vs food show. lol

He is not a "large" man, but darn he can eat!
 
He probably goes without food for 2 weeks between show tapings.

I just watched the guy eat 17 hotdogs a couple of days ago. I'm at least as big as he is and I could maybe eat 3 or 4 without hurling.

Just the new ones. It was working better this afternoon, now it's doing it again. It seems that once I tune to one of the new ones and it finally comes in, then the next time I go to it there is no problem. But if I shut down and come back, the problem's back. It's been a little cloudy and rainy today, but yesterday it was clearer and it was doing it then. I probably should check all my hookups. Maybe something is wrong there.
