Heres the deal

I talk to everyone here as I would talk to my friend. Not the way I would talk to a customer with yes maam and no sir etc. I feel it personify Directv a little. That there a regular every guy who works for them and willing to here about customer issues on his time off.


I understand Hemi concern, and I appericate it even though with Hemi I simply follow the DTA rule with him as I really dont think he likes me enough just to let the op which I have not seen post back say. Its just hemi's opinion of me.

Hemi never answer my question I just pm scott so I can sit down with him and verify my info. But Hemi would not answer me when I asked him if Scott oked me would he just drop this attack on me. He never answered , Jason, GoalieBob and other staff and given me there info and I talked to a few of them like bob. and I am going to sit down and show scott but that wont matter to you hemi as that will not end your mini war against me. You dont like my personality so you go on the attack.
Trust me stone I would support you 100% if you and Scott set up a Billing Help forum right here in the D* section.
Scott never posted an info to me about anything.

You just need to understand , I wouldn't expect you to trust me with personal information.

You don't know me, I don't know you.

So if Scott wants to take the time to work with you , maybe everyone would have no more unanswered questions.

My Mini war would stop quick, When you stop posting comments with my Name in it in threads that I've not even posted in.

I can have complaints about D* , But around you an attack is always made .

So where does that end?

To be honest if you were not such a jerk to me when you were a dish network customer . Frankly if i ever saw you say or do something productive in this forum I would probably have a heart attack. I just PM Scott tonight about sitting down with him. But frankly all i want you to do is shut up. and I say that in the nicest way. You can still hate me and call me a jerk or ahole or what ever I dont care But when you get in the way of me helping someone else that when It bothers me. and I dont force the help I will remind people I am here if they want that assistance.

So I glad you agree and I expect you to hold up your selid since it now saved for digitally .


P.S. I really dont think there needs to be a billing forum. Nor do I need to change my name.

I offered originally no one was all to concerned . Frankly I pm scott so its up to him right now. There bud I not going to pester him about it I told him I would like to arrange a time to get this all settled and thats that.

The only person getting in the way of getting proper help is you, You said it yourself , He can PM you right, We'll after seeing you under pressure, I can see why the OP wouldn't.

I'm glad you guys got that out of your system. It was really making my head spin. If I agreed with either of you it would make us all wrong. With that said, out of respect for this site, Scott, & all the other members, this thread should be allowed to die peacefully. :angel:
 
Hemi. You have been, and apparently will continue to be, a pious a**hole on these forums. It may be hard for you to understand, but your opinions are not always those that are in the majority on this site. Just sit back,relax and understand that if we all thought and lived the same way, this would be a very dull world. Please try to respect the feelings of others. I value your thoughts and hope that you value those of people that don't agree with you.
 
I thought that staff members where supposed to be helpful and nice not rude and arrogant.

Reminding someone about poor sentence structure and spelling in the vein of making a post easier to read is neither rude nor arrogant.
A bit less PC in the world would go a long way to assist people in realizing their faults.
 
I'll say right now:
Giving stonecold your phone number isn't giving him enormous amounts of personal data. Now I have never given Stonecold any contact information, but he has given me plenty of information when I needed help via PM about what to say to CSRs. I think its obvious he's trying to help, and I don't think members have problems with him like Hemi is trying to say.
 
I believe I was mislead when I ordered. I ordered the big pack with NFL ticket, whole home DVR and HD for life. I made it very specific about needing DVR to be able to be viewed in every room. When I got it all installed today I have 3 standard receivers so only two rooms have DVR viewing. I'm pretty pissed! Not a good start to me switching from Charter which I have had for 20+ years.

Why did you OK it if it wasn't what you wanted ?
Call them back and let them know what happened, sounds like your order got all messed up.

I didn't know until it was completely installed. I asked the installer (a contracted installer) if he would show me how to view dvr from my kids rooms and that's when it was explained to me.
 
Dang! This thread went from a troll ranting to a pissing match.
i never meant to start anything my only concern is how i was misinformed by direct tv. if u feel the need to insult people who are told some thing that's not true u would also be pissed. i payed 70.99 for the 200+ channels from dish with free hd . i felt maybe i could get a better deal from directv never having their service before i made a mistake. now im paying 64.19 for their second lowest package , i feel is to much especially when that includes the $29 discount. that means i will be paying almost $100 when the promo ends for what !! even if i go to the lowest package they offer it will be around $88. all i really care is about is the hd channels ,now I cant even do the hd free for life with autopay like i was told i have called at least 4 different times trying to explain that the rep i spoke wit told me i could if i didn't do it immediately . i have only had them for a few days and honestly i like the equipment just not the customer service as soon as my contract ends i will go back to dish . ps never meant to offend direct tv fan-boys just trying to let people know what can happen wit d. they did L I E . don't want to rant and offend any one else my apologies.
 
Slowride75, I'm starting to feel your frustration as I'm also a new DTV customer. Was happy with Charter but I felt it was time to stop depriving myself of the Sunday Ticket. The sales people at DTV must be retired cars sales people. Wait, maybe that is an insult to car sales people. I have some issues to address with them Monday, hopefully my tune will change after I try dealing with them.

because the quote i was given was 54.99 before taxes , we have a 7% tax. this dos not come out to 64.19. i even asked if that was the correct amount more than once and i was told yes by the rep. i was never misquoted this way by dish .PS thanks for the support fightfan, at least someone else knows what im experiencing.
