If that game is in the top 10 then I would argue it is due to East Coast Bias. That is one of the most overrated games around as well as one of the most overrated HRs. Heck, even the Sox announcer made is sound routine (unless it was just a horrible call). If the Sox ended up winning the series, then one can say it was one of the top games as the win actually meant something.Yes...and it's not because of East Coast bias.

I would not have a problem with game 6 of the 86 WS being #1 as that comeback also lead to a WS win

No. There goes a game, like Game 6 of the 86 WS, where one of the most dramatic comebacks actually changed the outcome of the series (unlike the less dramatic '75 games 6 Reds vs Sox series)
I would love for one argument as to why a tied game won in extra innings in which the team that won still lost the series should be ranked higher than a game in which a comeback actually changed the outcome of a series? Is it simply because he waived the ball fair? Or is it due to one of the least dramatic and dullest calls ever made of a game winning home run?

I'm a Red Sox fan, and as you know my team lost both the '75 and '86 World Series. At the risk of souding biased, I would rate the 1975 game 6 (a game the Red Sox won) higher than 1986 game 6 (a game the Red Sox lost) Why?
The Red Sox did everything to win the 1975 game (Bernie Carbo's pinch hit 3 run HR to tie it in the 8th, Dwight Evans amazing catch to save 2 runs in the 12th and of course the Fisk HR). In 1986, with all due respect to the Mets, the Red Sox did everything they could to lose that game (pulling Roger Clemens too early, staying too long with Calvin Schiraldi, not putting in Dave Stapleton defensively for Bill Bucker, Rich Gedman's passed ball, and of course Buckner).
IMO, good baseball (1975) trumps a gag job (1986), my team or not.....
You are arguing for or against good management, not for or against making the game or the series more dramatic or better.

I'm arguing for pure baseball execution, not lack thereof. And the fact the Sox lost the '75 series has nothing to do with '75 game 6 being in the top 20 discussion............each game is in a vacuum.
OK. That particular game was won in extra innings when the game was tied. A game won with a dramatic comeback is more dramatic IMO

well there are only 2 games left and Twins/Braves Game 7 is confirmed as #2 so I guess Red Sox/Reds is #1
