Can someone please explain to me why under my packages that it is showing the NFL Sunday Ticket and Superfan for $ 0.00 ?

(see attachment)

I really don't want to call Directv to find out....(just in case it really is free) :)

Any ideas?

There is already another thread about it, but basically its likely due to the fact that he billing code is now in the system and you just have not yet been billed; it will post soon enough; July or so.

On the actual statement it should say - auto renewal, no payment due yet.

Don't worry - it WON'T be free.

Yes as you see there are a few threads going on for the hot topic of sunday ticket/super fan. You will be billed next month, with month payments.

Yep. If you don't want it, call now and have it removed. It is the auto-renewal notice popping up. I called in the off-season and asked that it be removed but it still popped up this month. I had to call again and get it removed.

It does show it was removed from my online account and channel 107 (?) shows I need to order it to have it, so it seems it was removed for me.

I've got the same thing showing up on my account. How long can I wait to cancel before they hit me with any charges (that wouldn't be posted back to my card in full if i did cancel). I'm hoping to get superfan for free when it is fully in the system, but if not I think I'm going to be giving sunday ticket the boot.

Thanks joed32 and dcowboy7 for the replies.

I subscribed to Directv mainly for the ST (the extra HD channels were a definite plus) last August on the free ST with Superfan deal by getting a subscription to the programming package, or was it the other way around. It was an exceptional deal.

I guess this year I will auto renew if offered but as it would be about useless to me without the HD I will have to get the SF as well. Hopefully I will be able to get some kind of deal on that at least.

i assume sunday ticket works the same way as the other sport subs....you can cancel before the season starts without penalty. but once the first game is played, you're stuck with it for the entire season, even if you don't watch it!

Did you guys know that DIRECTV just came out with a Free NFL Sunday Ticket Offer?

They are giving NFL Sunday Ticket Free to anyone who orders a choice package or above. Pretty Friggin awesome if you ask me!

107 ? are you sure ?
107 is a 3D channel at the moment.

Just looked at my current bill and I don't have anything mentioning ST as of yet.

I understand the option of spreading out the payments over many months, but why would it show up ahead of time if your planning to pay all at once ?

You would think that D* would give you the option of how you want to pay for it, if you want monthly payment you would set it up that way with them.
Doesn't look like thats an option.
