on the odd channels today? Maybe its actually time for the "no maintenance needed" dish to get its LNBF changed at my end! Signal strength on DSR-410 drops to near nothing on odds, then comes back! Evens are fine, in fact they're rock solid with 96 signal and 84 quality! In the old analog days, I would have immediately suspected something at the dish, but I'm not positive that odd/even means "horizontal/vertical" anymore since things have gone digital!

Edit 6:38 PM: Seems more stable now, but was VERY unstable for at least the previous hour-hour and a half. Now holding fine! Getting tough to know where
to ask for help anymore, since those who authorize the service don't to tech support. Called a friend who I installed H2H-for, but they weren't home...
I hate posting issues like this, but tried most everything else!

I had something similar happen to me a couple weeks ago but was doing it on all H2H channels. Every hour or two,the channels would bleep out for about 1 second then come back. But FTA channels with the S9 were fine. I thought my 922 was dying but it quit doing it & has been fine ever since.

Turned out that my sub did expire but I didn't get a renewal notice - not very good customer service.

My sub expired on Friday before Labor Day & my webSAM's account was locked. I couldn't renew until the following Tuesday because SRL was closed. So no channels at all over that weekend. That really sucked & I hope it won't happen again. I know they run a small crew & take weekends off but it's not the 80's no more & I hope webSAM's will work for me from now on.

I've been having issues for the past 3 days! Thought it was solar flares or someting. I do nothing and they come back.

I have that happen over the many years of operation and on various birds. Traced to cops and radar guns. In other words mobile TI.

Yes, good point

Might be the case for some, doubtedly here given our location in "rural" USA where only one road is nearby. But, Radar/radar detecting used to null my satellite internet
when someone parked in front of my building with their radar detector on. Whatever caused this was not radar this time! And, things this morning seem normal on all h2h channels.

I've experienced this problem here also in the evenings only - likewise only with odd numbered channels such as 211. The picture develops flashes, a momentary zoom effect, some tiling & then returns to normal. Had thought it could be an evening storm in the path somewhere.

This also happened last year at this time - thought it might be mobile radar TI. Stepped outside to check for squad car but found none. Thought perhaps some neighbor needs to replace their microwave oven - I had experienced my own oven leaking radiation.

Just don't know for certain what is causing this.

BTW - I had replaced the LNBF, checked all switches, etc already before posting.

Done!

SRL is usually quite good at communications via e-mail and grateful for notes from subscribers!
If there is a problem, maybe they can pass the word on!

I've been watching H2H for the past hour and a half. Currently, the wife is watching 243 (we) and have had no issues.

I did have similar problems a month ago though.

Channel 312 just blinked out for about 1 second & came back on. I just started watching H2H 10 minutes ago. Been watching FTA all day with no problem.
