the ole coolsat6100 and GI 4DTV to try and get some Xmas audio
I couldnt find anything.
Since the digital switch to locals I havent played with FTA much
Im pretty bummed that I can get nothing.
Ive got C band and Ku and also Ku circular with many feedhorns and a 10 ft mesh dish.

Is there anything I can do with this now

Merry Christmas everyone!

for Christmas audio there is the audio channels on W5 (105W) and G5 (125W)...the 4DTV can get those
There is some on 91W (see thelist) but those are AC-3 audio so you would need a separate audio decoder on the 6100
SatelliteGuys.US_TheList - 91.0°W Galaxy_17 C

but otherwise you have a pretty good system there. The 4DTV can move the dish and the 6100 can get all the free digital programming out there

Turn to 91W and use the radio switch on that remote! there a 20+ music channels ITC there to choose from. And of course 105W has music also starting at channel 900 i think.

91W is the first one I tried with the radio setting on the CS and it saw the stations but nothing came of it.

so I guess what youre saying is to give up on the CS and KU and try the 922?
is there any way to use the decoder in the 922?

iceberg is saying turn the dish with the 4DTV, then use the CS on C-band to catch the ITC HITS on AMC 18 and Music Choice on Galaxy 14 (G5).
DMX/HITS on AMC-18 and MC on G-14 are DCII. The CS will not receive those, the 4DTV will, if they are mapped in. Use generic CA over G5 for the music at 125w. :)
