I am in the Florida Keys and the elliptical dish does not work here. I have two 3ft dishes locked on to two satellites with good strong signal and I get all of the stations except HD. I subscribe to everything. I have a third one foot dish that I am trying to lock onto the HD satellite with. I remember seeing a thread on which LNBs and connectors to use to make this work. Any idea how I can configure this to make it all come together?

Thank you

The issue is I assume you have 101 & 119 right now. I dont think the HD LNB will work on a 3 foot dish due to the spacing but you can try
Only way to combine them would be a 6x8 multiswitch...and thats if the HD LNB (11/101/103) works on a 3 footer. If it doesnt then I dont know

i have numerous friends from Key Largo all the way through Marathon and down to Key West that use all varieties of DirecTV "HD" dishes just fine.

isnt the slimline a 3 ft dish, you should be able to use sl3 or sl3-swm or sl5 sl5-swm the 3 lmb gets 101, for guide and 99, 103 for hd, the 5 gets them all 99,101,103,110,119, and all of the work in the keys

1.2 meter HD dish for 99/101/103, it's called the Alaska/Hawaii dish:
Such a dish may not work well given the apparent satellite spacing.

Key West: 99W and 101W appear to be 3.0 degrees apart
in Juneau: 99W and 101W appear to be 1.9 degrees apart
in Waikiki: 99W and 101W appear to be 1.0 degrees apart

My guess is that the AK/HI dish assembly splits the difference somewhere around half the apparent spacing of Key West. 3/4 of a degree of misalignment seems a lot to ask of Ka.

Did someone figure out how to maintain the WB68 stack plan (five slots on four cables) with individual dishes? It seems like this wasn't possible.

I know of ppl "down south" using this dish/LNB combo with good results, I am still waiting on someone to make a KA only Directv LNB with a combiner(s).

I think you'll be waiting a long time for someone to figure out how to combine the dishes.
