Does EHD plug into Hopper or Joey?

Edit: Let me expand my question....I was wondering if I might be able to put an extra Joey in my camper so I can plug an EHD into it and watch any recordings. I don't want to mess with hooking up a Dish while camping, I will be fine just watching stuff from an EHD. I am fine with adding an extra Joey on my account for this purpose I just didn't know if this might ever work.

Interesting when ppl will finally get a simple concept of head device with all functions and clients what just play from the home device ? So many threads and posts with missing the concept ...

Because not every body on the forum is a tech junky.......

Im wondering when people will quit using ppl for people and spell it correctly......:p

Yep. And we all know how well that went over. But I think this is a good implementation of the concept.

No you can not have a joey in a camper unless there is a cable connecting the joey to a line that is attached to the hopper. So if your camper is on your property you can have a line ran from the line the hopper shares to the joey on your camper, but you can not travel with it. Also the joey i s not a dvr. The hopper is the actual dvr and the joey lets you view your dvr recordings that are on the hopper.

eSATA port not active, and is not promised to EVER be active. Maybe it will, maybe it won't.

I understand the EHD has to be connected to the Hopper.. But can you take the EHD from the old 722 that you traded up for the Hopper and still have all the recordings?

You should, as h2k based on 722s aka 922, to definitive answer you should wait - it's coming soon and many users will be able to try and answer your questions.
