How warm are they suppose to get? I've seen several in the field that get warm but how warm is ok and what makes it get that hot to begin with!?

29v of constant power. They def get warm

I stood it off from the wall with compression coax connectors. Air flow on all sides now makes a huge difference on keeping it cool.

That's a pretty good idea, I'm going to jump in the attic one day and do that to mine. Bing in an attic prolly won't help it much though
