Anybody have an idea on who the third person was to hit a HR out of Dodgers stadium? It was also the further HR ever hit in Dodgers stadium.

He was also the only kid to ever hit a HR out of the field into the neighborhood at my high school while playing for the visiting team.

I think we are referring to the same HR, DK. It went into the parking lot after it hit the center tree. Vinny couldn't remember it ever happened because it was an ESPN Sunday Night Baseball broadcast and he didn't call it.

Watch the video I linked. It went over the roof. It wasn't hit near a tree.

Reggie Jackson?

As strong as they were, I'm surprised Steve Garvey, Ron Cey or Pedro Guerrero didn't do it.

Josh Hamilton just hit his 4th HR of the game with 8 RBI's in today's game.

...rookie third basemen Will Millbrooks has demonstrated his suitabilty to be Youkilis's replacement by missing today's game with a hamstring injury...

From ESPN.com:
Game Notes
RED SOX THIRD BASEMAN WILL MIDDLEBROOKS LEFT THE GAME IN THE BOTTOM OF THE SECOND INNING WITH LEFT HAMSTRING TIGHTNESS.

He has now been on the major league roster for six games and has already missed one and been taken out of another due to injuries.

On the other hand, he doubled in the second inning, raising his batting average to .409 and his slugging average to 1.000, and extended his team record string of getting extra base hits in his first five major league games
