Is this the 1st year that all of baseball gets 4 days off?

I know last year some teams played Thursday but didnt see anyone scheduled today

I believe MLBPA complained about everyone not having the same amount of days off, so they gave everyone Thursday off. Such babies.

If they have changed it to not playing till Friday now, they should move the game to Wednesday, this way ALL pitchers will have ample time to have thier rest and be available to pitch, instead of the guys that pitched on Sunday being eliminated.

Also, if they move the ASG to Wednesday, move the HR derby to Tuesday and the Futures game to Monday night and give it Prime time attention.

First time I have ever seen it.

I agree.

Somehow, I managed to survive the extra day without baseball...

Three for three! .625!

But of course, I'm old enough to remember when a guy named Ted Cox set a major league record playing for the Red Sox by starting his career six for six but was never heard from again.

Ted Cox - A Major League Record Holder on Baseball Almanac

OMG!! Ted Cox!! Talk bout a blast from the past!!

He was part of the package (along with Bo Diaz and Mike Paxson??) that the Sox sent to Cleveland for Dennis Eckersley.

For accuracy purposes, the trade was Eck and Fred Kendall to Boston with Cox, Diaz, Paxton and Rick Wise going to Cleveland.

Yeah, unfortunately that is the Angels Achilles heel at the moment. However, the rest of their roster is just LOADED!
And Trout is a one man show.

Trout vs Harper is the perfect example of east coast bias. I can guarantee you that if Trout played for an east coast team and Harper played for the Angels, Trout will be getting all of the publicity instead of Harper. Deservedly so since Trout is many times better than Harper.
