We get tired of Fox and ESPN shoving the yankees down everyones throats :D :)
and MLB Network and TBS too

For people outside of the NY market and are Yankee fans I dont get why they pay for MLB EI (if they have Directv) as it seems like they are on one of the stations we mentioned at least 3 to 4 times a week.

I think all of these stations have done a huge disservice by 'watering down' what was once a GREAT rivalry.

No one cares any more.

Interesting that I am watching the Marlins vs the Braves in Atlanta..and for a team with history and only a handful of games from 1st place...that stadium is EXTREMELY empty.

Where is the uproar about THEIR lack of fan support?

LOL!

Atlanta fans have been notorious for not showing up for games for ages. They fill the place (sometimes barely) during the playoffs. Their long run of NL pennants and divisions spoiled the fan base.

I agree
But as long as they continue to do it you can be assured a few things
Red/Sox Yankees if on a weekend is
MLB Net Friday
Fox Saturday
ESPN Sunday

and Mets/Yankees pretty much same thing but TBS did carry one game

Make that 3.

10 in a row and Marty Brenneman has to shave his head. :D

Have they shown any video or pics yet of it? All I saw was the ending of yesterdays game with Marty talking about it

edit: looks like Friday they are...from 700 wlw site
The shaving will reportedly happen in the Reds' clubhouse, Friday, before the Reds game with Pittsburgh.

Brave fans hardly ever sell out, the don't even sell out thier playoff games.

I listened to Marty (and Joe Nuxhall) WAY back when I was growing up on WLW every day, from Toledo Ohio on the transistor radio.

Atlanta fans are generally apathetic toward all their teams.

I'll bet Showtime could kick themselves in the butt with their "Franchise" show now. Talk about a season dying a slow, painful death. I feel for you and all Marlins fans, Salsa.

Quite honestly....nobody expected this to happen. Just like nobody expected the Nationals to be in 1st place or the Pirates fighting for a playoff spot....or the Phillies in dead last place.

Sh!7 happens....:-(
