Since my team is essentially out out of the postseason race, I'm rooting for a Pirates / A's World Series....

Let us not for one second take the incredible Oakland A's for granted. Their comeback in last night's game was crazy/scary for those of us who might be Angels or Rangers fans!!!!
Plus, they are having so much FUN while they are doing this that it is infectuous to watch.

You just described the Pirates, complete with their comeback last night as well.
Salsa, I feel for you. The Mets were supposed to stink this year and they played well until the wheels came off. Not only that but not making at least 1 trade doesnt help either. I dont think Heath Bell will go anywhere. He hasnt been good this year.

I think the same way about the Mets but I dont think they are going to trade for anybody. If anything, I've heard rumors they may trade Scott Hairston and/or Tim Brydak although I've heard from Alderson that they are staying.
I think the A's are playing well too because there's no pressure on them. They can play loosey goosey and no one expects them to do anything with the Angels and the Rangers in the same division.

FOX has to get rid of there blackout rules. Some people in the area cant see the Yankees game because of the length of the rain delay. Now, if your sick of the Yankees/Red Sox your happy about that but still. For some people who want a different game, they cant get it and there stuck with what could be a lousy game.
