Im not following the NL Central that much but kudos to the Pirates and the Reds. Nice to see some new blood for a change. How many years have the Cards dominated the NL Central. Nice for the Reds. They made the playoffs a few yrs. ago, good for them. As far as the Pirates go, if they make the playoffs, how can you not root for them? 20 yrs. they've been lousy. They deserve a break.

The Reds won the division in 2010 and last year the Brewers won it.

Wishing for a sweep in Arlington's heat tonight. I'm doubtful because Richards is on the mound and he has been questionable to poor lately. But to come out of Texas with a 2 game deficit would be awesome!

Honestly IMO the pirates will either lose the series or get swept, 19 years of losing and a ownership that doesn't know how to create a good team.

First off they didn't sweep them. Second, they were 13-3, that's 16 games by my count, not 4.

Last Saturday, Joe Buck said they were going on hiatus for a couple weeks because of the Olympics. The FOX GOTW will be back August 18th.

I can't believe that as bad as this Red Sox team is, I actually feel pity for Bobby Valentine (the guy I was against them hiring in the first place).

It's not his fault what he inherited, and that the team has been a collective piece of dung going on almost a calendar year. Seriously, this team needs an enema!!
