Where are the HD channels Dish?

Personally, I think Dish has a pretty good amount of HD. The only real standouts to me are Disney and some ABC/ESPN, and TVLand.
What's left, really? GAC and the Encore channels?

So? HD is about image quality, not color and width.
4:3 B&W films can be pretty breathtaking in HD, too. Citizen Kane, Casablanca, a bazillion film noirs, etc.

Many movies were made at that aspect and in black and white. But they look very good with very little noise. Even the SD version is pretty good.

What's left for HD is really channels in dispute, channels whose HD feeds are new to other providers, and niche channels. There will always be something. What about Moremax HD? What about NASA HD? And so on, and so on. Your requests have merit. It's just what is enough to be satisfied? To be clear, I left out my repeated requests on purpose. "What about ... in HD ..."

The Encores in HD would be nice. More movies in HD are always a good thing.

You know why about Disney. As for the OTHERS, Dish...don't waste the money or the bandwidth!!! I'd rather see FearNet HD!!!

I agree, I'm sure they need justification meaning a high demand/request for a channel before shelling out a bunch of money to carry it. Oxygen in HD? I yell everytime I see a recording from Oxygen on my DVR.

Get all your friends to request it. There demand, the more likely the chances of it being picked up
