Marvel "Agents of Shield"

Here's The First Teaser For 'The Avengers' Spinoff Show 'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.
On the cusp of debuting the first promo for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (tonight during Once Upon a Time‘s Season 2 finale), the Joss Whedon-sired ABC series has let slip an all-too-brief peek at the action-packed things to come this fall — including what appears to be a cameo by Luke Cage.News of a drop-by — a literal one, from the looks of the first scene here! — from the superpowered Cage first swirled when Angel alum J. August Richards was cast in the pilot in a top-secret capacity. The 7-second teaser video flashes glimpses of most of the S.H.I.E.L.D. team, including ER alum Ming-Na (kicking some ass as former soldier Melinda May), Nashville’s Chloe Bennet (playing superhero culture-obsessed Skye) and Brett Dalton (as rising star Agent Grant). The sneak peek of course is capped by a steely pose from Clark Gregg’s Agent Phil Coulson, who last was seen in the big-screen Avengers mission… dying. Ergo the hashtag #CoulsonLives.ABC will announce S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s place on its 2013-14 schedule this Tuesday, as part of the broadcast networks’ week-long Upfronts presentation extravaganza. Sounds like a mix of X files and Fringe. But I am betting we see NO superheroes flying in.
I hope not, that would ruin the show. Keep it as a mix of early X Files & Fringe back when they were monsters of the week shows, and I can see it doing really well.

That really looks good. Glad Colson isn't dead after all.

They are showing long previews now at the movie theater. The "show" that runs before the start time that does movie trivia, shows clips and of course commercials. It looks like it could be a really good show.

Finally got around to actually watching Avengers a week or so ago. It and Thor appeared on Netflix, so me and the boys watched them (had already seen Captain America).

How is Agent Coulson supposed to star in this? Knowing he was going to be the main character, I kept expecting him to pop up at the end of Avengers, but he never did.

Not sure but if comic books and superhero cartoons have taught us anything it's that no one is really dead. This is my most anticipated new show this fall.
