New MTV series Teen Wolf

It is nothing like the movie. The only thing in common is the name. I watched the first episode last night... Looks like something the CW should have picked up, a lot of teenage angst.

Well an update the series has turned out to be fairly interesting. It has been a long time since I have watched an MTV series.

I have them on the dvr but I am still 3 weeks behind. I thought it was going pretty good up to where I am. Will try and catch up this weekend. Probably the first time in 10 years I have watched MTV

I am glad MTV picked up season 2 of Teen Wolf. I ended up really liking the show and will miss it until 2012. I hope they will do more than 12 episdoes next season.

Really enjoying season 2. So far they really have been able to keep up the story lines and it has not gotten bogged down into just teenage angst.

Well the series seems to be a hit for MTV. They announced season 3 renewal with 24 episodes... Wow like a big 4 network season.

I hope that Michael Hogan comes back next year. He did an excellent job of playing the evil grandpa. I kept hoping for him to have to sport the eye patch like in BSG...

New season starts next week. I am really looking forward to it again. Season 3 has an amazing 24 episodes, it is like a broadcast television show. I wonder how many episodes in a row they will do, and if it will be over 9 months like the networks do it, or 12 months? Maybe 2 12 episode blocks?

Apple TV today had a 41 minutes (hour episode from MTV) season 1 and 2 recap in advance of the season 3 premiere next Monday.

Just when I start to tire of the teen angst romance dramas, this show really surprises me. 24 episodes? Wow! I hope they don't run out of interesting/original story lines and go off course with wacky, WTF? ideas. It will also be nice if they save some episodes for the Nov-Jan timeframe, when a lot of other shows are on hiatus.

Timer set for me! Wife said she was dropping out though :)

But, they added a bunch more buff guys for the women to enjoy... Seriously makes me glad I am not in high school and have to live up to the modern day buff appearance that TV shows make seem the norm. I made Stiles look buff when I was in high school.

LOL. My wife is like "no, Im not watching this season, its stupid." Im a sucker for werewolves and such. I did get her hooked and Arrow, some eye candy there.

I couldn't force myself to finish last week's episode. For some reason, the main storyline (alpha pack in town) just isn't grabbing me, and the goofiness (Styles especially) and random gratuitous teen-horror movie clichés are irritating me more than they did in the first two seasons, not to mention the cranked-up, god-awful soundtrack.
