DIRECTV TO STOP CARRYING TNA WRESTLING PPV'S

[h=3]DirecTV Dropping TNA One Night Only PPV Events[/h] According to The Wrestling Observer, DirecTV has made the decision to drop the TNA One Night Only PPV's, beginning with TNA 10, and the satellite will no longer be offering the monthly events. The decision to pull the events entirely indicates low amount of purchases for the PPV's, which began back in April of this year.

Maybe this will cause some of the better wrestlers to come back to WWE. Probably not, but one can hope. Id love to see the Hardy Boyz as a tag team again, The dudleys too.

Sting should finally go,get his hall of fame ring,maybe have one wrestlemania match.Honestly,it's a shame there is no true competition to WWE,since the deaths of WCW,and ECW,WWE has sucked.There are a lot of talented wrestlers around the world that deserve a chance of 15 minutes of fame,as it is they will never get the chance.

This isnt all TNA PPVs. It is just the one Night Only PPVs they recorded several months back. Everyone knows what happened so no one is buying. They are still carrying the big live PPVs that they do.

Thanks for that clarification. Either way saying Direct TV is useless as a poster did for dropping it doesn't make any sense. What doesn't make sense is paying for it and not getting a return.

I noticed they were not carrying the TNA PPV last Friday, DirecTV guide had it listed as did DirecTV.com until Friday(the day of the PPV) you could order the PPV in SD until it was pulled but could not order the HD one. I had to buy it on TNA's Youtube page, so DirecTV TNA fans won't miss the One Night Only's PPVs if they buy it on Youtube. It's even in HD on Youtube but Youtube had a error and the HD did not work until 1 hour & 16 minutes into the PPV. I hope DirecTV carrys TNA's 4 live PPVs a year tho

i'm not a pro wrestling fan, but i don't think they market it as a sport, they market it as entertainment. is it fake, sure, but all scripted tv shows and movies are. unless you are watching a documentary, biography, or sports, you are probably watching a "fake" show. just b/c you do not watch it does not make it a waste. i don't watch e, bravo, style, all the mtv's, bet's, cmt's, shopping channels, foreign language channels, and many other ones, but that doesn't mean others don't enjoy it.
