This is the best CE since we got the black guide. It actually works, the speed of use is faster than it has been in MONTHS, and the sports seach is EXACTLY what I was hoping it would be. Good work, D*!

My Genie was barely doing anything since getting the 740 software on Wednesday. This CE has been very smooth for me so far. I love the sports search. The only complaint about it is the jumbled writing at the bottom. I would like to see the icon made smaller so that two rows of text could be displayed, row 1 being time and channel number and row 2 showing the channel name and the HD icon (if applicable). If the icons were a lot smaller 3 rows of games could be displayed, 12 games on screen at once.
But ALL SPORTS (sports search and channel 9085) is the best thing Directv has done in a long time. I like how you can do "all channels" or just "channels I get." I also like how it finds AM21 games.
I really wish they would add the triangles (now triangles with + signs) to ALL of the channels with VOD content. The most recent HD additions (Within a year or so) have not had their VOD indicator added.

Can someone please explain the sports search, channel 9085? I downloaded the software last night (OXF77) and I don't see the 9085 channel. Is this the correct software issue?

I don't have that channel. Is this supposed to be part of the 0xf77 software that I downloaded late last night? I don't have a sports search category. My guide channels go from 1 to 9950, 9571, 9570, etc. Did I do something wrong? Do I have the wrong software running? What if I go back with a red button reset?

Thanks for your reply! You're correct. I just double checked. It is 0x77f, downloaded at 11:25PM EST. When I click on the search function it displays Movies, Smart Search, TV Shows, On Demand, and Adults Only.
Also, when I click on TV Shows, nothing at all happens.
I do have it hard wired to the internet for what it's worth.

Not sure if it's just the weather or an issue with the release, but audio keeps jumping.As in no audio, then play 3-5 seconds at 3x speed to catch back up. Made watching Sun AM talking heads quite entertaining.
Like the infinite record, but let's hold out voting until we see how it works.
Lost MRV on the 34, I should've known something was up when I hit record on the 25 in the bedroom last night and it did not ask me which DVR to record to. HR22s on Nat release still work for MRV. I tried RBR on 34 this AM to reset the server since that will sometimes get it to recognize other DVRs, no love. It shows as Whole Home active and sharing, but not seeing the other DVRs and 34 not sharing playlist regardless of what it says in settings.
